Soteria Community Development Corporation advocates for the social and economic justice for those and their families affected by the criminal justice system. Through creating opportunities for previously incarcerated individuals to reenter society, Soteria CDC reduces recidivism, provides direct services, and addresses inequality for areas that experience high rates of crime. Roughly 1,000 individuals are released from incarceration and return to Greenville each year, and over 31.8% will return to prison. Soteria CDC disrupts the cycle of chronic recidivism and poverty through providing transitional & affordable housing, financial planning & education, job training, and creating policy change.
Your generous support provides meals, clothing, job training opportunities, and many more direct services.
